Hello to one and all, and welcome to my website. My name is Lola Ziegler and I am the owner and sole designer of Hats By Lola, Inc. My journey began when I  enrolled in a millinery class taught by dear friend and mentor, Vesta Carter in 1961 in Chicago, Illinois.

While honing my craft in the art of millinery I began  a career as a bond manager for the Circuit Court of Cook County from which I retired in 1997 after 30 years of service. Now armed with ample time my passion, that started as a side venture in my small studio became my business.  After many shows locally (in the Chicagoland area) and throughout  the Midwest, in 2001 one of my creations was featured in a 6 month exhibition at The Hat Museum in London, England.  In 2006 I was featured in Issue #28 of The Hat Magazine

also a London, UK based fashion periodical for the industry.  It is now my greatest pleasure to offer my 40+ years of experience as artisan to everyone via the internet.
